8 hours, tiles are actors.
Grappling with the unreal specific vision modifiers. Got everything working on the Actors. Optimized the cool calculations and realized all the old ones were wrong.
Learned how to make BP children of c++ classes which is amazing. Super cool.
Got the calculations working for populating a 127 tile board of independent tile actors in the right shape and spacing.
Hard to give 8 hard fought hours with all the learning involved in these days. Finding that I max out at points. I’ll have to find some easy tasks to do during these periods. But it seems like the whole point of me learning c++ is to eliminate the need to do the easy tasks and just write them up instead.
