8 hours, intro to menus.
Mostly a lot of thinking and rough tests for how I want to introduce the menu systems. Current plan is to make the player menu into the first run past a modified main and play menu, this way the player won't be stumbling into them for the firs time when we try to explain them. I will try to make the button presses very fast and obvious to get past the menus though. But teases are fun and good. The menus will plant an objective "gather security data", and once we hit save phase 1 we get the security data and can pay off that objective with the return to the menus.
The progression is in, we boot to the menu on first boot now, but I need to make the menu modifications and pace the unique post save progression which is probably take me some days here.
Brought the roid tracker bar up to the current standards.
The save eval display is really giving me a hard time, I can't get the dang thing to align two elements next to each other at the center of a horibox. We'll get there.
