Reworking the portal. The portal is no longer the sole goal of the game, the player will construct multiple structures throughout the sections and so the Portal needs to be reworked to support this new flow. This means removing/editing a lot of functionality to narrow down what the portal cares about and when it responds to those stimuli. The reworked portal will lead to a reworked save phase 2 as well. For the time being, during section 1 and 2 both outer layers of the portal have their wire state enabled and are both filled in during section 2. The portal will no longer be allowed to hang in an incomplete state so in section 3 forward the portal will always load these outer layers completed.
In conjunction with this is coming a lot of thought about the overall goal structure, how it should flow and how I can introduce the mechanics in the opening moments of the game. This is leading to a further retooling and expansion of section 0.
Misc lighting fixes. Recovery from all the ridiculous things I did to my project yesterday trying to get it to cook.
