8 hours, new save structure.
Working on making the save data into a c++ file, same for the phase save data. As I have been going through this process I’ve been exploring other potential solutions, but they are all presenting problems. Currently I don’t have the new system in, but the game still functions on the old system just fine. Learning about what it takes to stitch together BP and c++ the hard way I guess.
Currently trying to bridge the gap between the save data and the gamemode BP with a save data manager actor that will be in the scene. It has been started but is not currently functioning. Learned so much, really burnt my brain out for the last couple hours. I’ll come back with new vigor on monday.
