8 hours, alt fire visualization.
Did some learning about how the shader I’m working with works. Still more to learn, I have modifications I would like to make, but I have not yet learned enough to make those adjustments cleanly.
Did a number of experiments with the player’s alt fire. Tired making it grenade that fires into the world and detonates on impact. But this does not match up well with how the gun works, a grenade launcher does not not have a close range damage zone associated with it.
It now gets placed into the world at the center of the first blast and uses a particle to show those bounds. That particle then retracts in time with the second explosion. Figured this out late today so it’s all bit rough and a big plane, but it’s exciting progress.
New build up today, fixed a known animation bug and sent it up, no particle effects though.
Wove some CM in cleanly enough not to complain here.
