Project #9 Day #11

8 hours, getting distracted by turkey day. Not certain how much or if I'll work the next couple days. Certainly not on thanksgiving. Great first thirty minutes, then a day, and then a great last 2 hours.

Today. Two more hazards are in, both of which are things I've never successfully done before. Webs are in the game. When a player touches a web they are immobilized and are shown a series of arrow prompts. When the player completes this arrow series they can move again and the web is destroyed. The arrows display in the order to be pressed from over the player's head going right. The one to be pressed first is twice as large and over the player. When a correct button is pressed that arrow is erased and the line congas in. These arrows will follow the player even if the web is on a moving platform. Horizontal pushers are in the game. The head of a pusher will grab any player that it touches, but only on the way out from its base. If the player is grabbed they are affixed to the front of the pusher and cannot move until the pusher is fully extended. The pusher will then leave the player in the center of grid space, or in the void. For the void reason the player is forced to check position when dropped off. This system functions for left and right facing. The pushing face is supported by a long metal rod that is an obstacle, preventing the player from traveling behind the pushing face. Knife on a stick can now break. Web is in the instantiator object because it all scales off distance so its mad easy. Pusher not in there yet.
