6 hours, taking it real easy. On the path to feeling tip top again. Gathered cost data on tier 7 upgrades. Created a function to simplify large numbers to an abc.xyz format that indicates what magnitude of number it is describing (ex 123.456 Billion). That is now used for all printed large numbers. The other countertop space unlocks now. Created the entries for upgrade tiers 5 - 8. Tiers 5 & 6 are now functional with correct cost and scaling (couple unique errors, but most of it works). Turns out egg laying speed matters to Eggs Inc and I had to rework how the tea capacity bottleneck functions to reflect that.
This marks the official half way point for this project. I'm satisfied with my progress thus far and pleased by the amount of effort I've been able to put in over the last weeks. Though that effort is currently taking a slight toll. Eggs Inc is more complex than I initially anticipated it would be. But I'm still feeling good about my odds of having something that feels finished by the end of this 30 days cycle, and I'm hopeful I will be able to take the time to make it weird. Who knows, maybe I'll finish before the 30 day mark. Its not unreasonable given the current progress.
I've rarely gotten hung up on things this project. I'm unsure if I should count that as a good or bad thing. I've either gotten a handle on the fundamentals or I'm not challenging myself enough in my project selection. Hard to say.
