Created a new bar for indicating the arrival of the next stage in a phase. This indicator will be used to signal the presence of break opportunities within a phase. When enabled it starts full and drains. It is positioned just below the stage clear bar so create a racing relationship, both drain from right to left, the player must clear out the field before the timer bottoms out. When no further stages remain in a phase it pulses to indicate you should mop it up.
Moved the HUD all over the place. Rearranged the differential data into a corner and stacked it to make better use to space. Most notably removed the old health bar from the center and replaced it with two slim bars on the right and left edge of screen that descend toward the bottom of the screen as the player loses health. There needs to be more of a notification but this feels like a good step. Redid the coloration on the health bar.
The field clear percentage and stage time are now in the top center of the screen where they can be the focus for the player.
Working on colors for the new UI bars, right now everything I'm making is too loud.
