6 hours, animation.
More time in blender, carefully making my way toward a gun with a spinning up animation. I’ve got the animation working, but something about the model as a skeletal mesh has it getting imported as a muddy mess and I have to hunt that down.
Very cool to be making some animations. I still get the feeling that I will have to remake a chunk of this thing later once I know the full scope of what it needs to do, but to get the core mechanics across I just need some basics!
CM work in the morning largely out of the way of everything else.
