6 hours, WE BACK!
Back in it. Got all set up in a fresh cool version of unreal, so far I’m appreciating it quite a bit. Some time setting back up. Couple hours doing some out of editor work.
I generalized the communication bars a bit and pulled out A LOT of dead code. Still a little more to do to make it as robust as the old system. But it’s very nearly there now, and takes up WAY less space.
I’ve had some ideas about what to do with a recoil/heat mechanic. Look for those soon.
