8 hours, returning to the doc.
Trying to decide what the next big plays are. I’m spending time looking at all these menus and save data concerns that are minor, but there a lot of them. Instead I’m doing some tuning to the player character and reading through the design doc.
I made a charged state for the plasma ball. It’s not gonna stick, but I made one.
More excitingly I am working on changing the player’s level 1 alt fire to a Kikosho instead of a shotgun blast. The blast implies uses that I don’t like. It lets the player get lucky at extreme ranges, but you have to get lucky. It’s been causing me to grow frustrated with it! So it’s getting replaced with a fixed range nuke that hits everything in a sphere trace that is getting tuned and tweaked like wild right now.
A bit of CM worked into this day, here and there. Nothing major tho.
I’m just not gonna have great work days for a while is my concern. I’m spending hours after work looking for positions for the next week atleast, and it’s draining. We’ll see how it goes. I’ve started doing some new game master work for a campaign to keep spirits up. That’s work too tho.
